But they have no idea what dark thoughts swim through my pretty little head.

Vengeful sugar plum fairies dancing in blood.

Raise Hell Summary

Once upon a time, I was innocent — and then they destroyed me.

Left me for dead.

The boys of Havoc House don’t think I remember what they did to me.

But they’re going to pay for all of it.

I’ll cross each of them off my list until I’m the last one standing. And I will do anything to make it happen.

Even pretend to fall in love.

People like to say that revenge is a dish best served cold. But it takes planning and patience to seek true vengeance when you’ve been wronged.

And the best revenge takes time. You have to smile when you want to scream. Laugh, when you want to cry.

Play nice, while you dream about going for the jugular.

For that, you need boiling rage.

I am the cleansing fire that will burn St. Bart’s Prep to the ground.

Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord.

But I can’t wait on heaven, so instead I’ll raise hell.

Raise Hell Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

First off, this book is NOT for the faint of heart, and has some MAJOR triggering content in it.

That being said, IF you can handle the content, it is well worth the read. It was twisted and dark from the very beginning and not in the why I assumed. Ashley Gee starts the book off 6 months before the rest of the novel. This introductive prologue introduces us to our main male character, Drake. This mixed race boy finds a girl beaten and left for dead in the forest on the night of Bacchanal, the Havoc House party of the year. Chapter one introduces us to our main female character, Olivia, 6 months later. Olivia is on a quest for vengeance. Olivia’s sass and never back down attitude is my favourite kind of female character in any novel genre. She is a queen who deserves her crown.

This planned trilogy has A LOT of moving parts in it that kept me on the edge of my seat. The twists and turns start off right away. Olivia on her quest for vengeance and justice finds herself pitted against Drake and Havoc House; and of course not everything is as it seems. There’s not much else I can say without giving some major spoilers and I won’t be doing that. The suspense, and thrilling events and twists in this novel are dark and rapturing. Be warned beforehand though, the ending is a real cliffhanger and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next instalment and see what happens.

I would like to thank Ashley Gee for sending me a free copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.

About Ashley Gee

Ashley Gee is a romance author and part-time adult. She lives in Indiana with her husband, two children, two cats, two dogs and partridge in a pear tree (okay not really!). She doesn’t enjoy long walks on the beach because the sand gets everywhere but can often be found binging Netflix and drinking wine from Kroger. Her books feature brooding boys and the girls who bring them to their knees
