he gave me hope and comfort.

-Rider

All the Stars Synopsis

Rider doesn’t have a lot of rules when it comes to guys, but there is one- he doesn’t date, not ever. He’s content with random hookups because dating means too much. That’s reserved for the one person he knows he can never have, his best friend, Cameron.

After watching his own family fall apart, Cam longs for someone who will stick it out through thick and thin. He’s had a string of girlfriends that never seem to be the right one. The one person he can always count on is Rider.

One night out changes everything between them. When Rider ends up telling Cam the secret he’s been hiding, Cam is left reeling. But will an accident end Cam’s chances to figure out what it means for them?

All the Stars is a heartwarming story of friendship, love, and finding the one that was right in front of you all along.

The Love Bank Romance series features sweet LGBTQ love stories with a little heat.

All the Stars Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

All the Stars is a sweet friends-to-lovers novel with a slow-burn MM romance in it. Taking place in the world today, All the Stars follows two best friends through dual perspectives as they navigate life as new adults, relationships and discovering who they are.

Cameron and Rider have been best friends since walking into each other’s lives at 13 years old and made an instant connection. Rider grew up in a not so stable home and Cam’s home because a refuge for him. Rider has known he was gay since he was 15, and has been harbouring a flame for Cam since forever. Rider is a bad boy with a heart of gold. I absolutely adore him. Cam, after another failed relationship, leans on his best friend for comfort and the stability that has always been there. After taking things too far after being harassed, secrets are spilled and everything thinks he knows comes crashing down.

This book takes place in our world, a contemporary fiction. The writing is very true to what it feels like to discover part of yourself is not what you thought. All the Stars is full of sweetness, tension, overthinking and doubting that comes with a new discovery about yourself and entering into a new relationship. It also has that little pinch of spice that I love. As the story unfolds and you learn more about these two characters, you’ll definitely fall in love. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Bo Next Door.

A special thank you goes out to Duckie for providing me a copy of this book for review!
